Ms Sarah Sporys

 

Sarah Sporys teaches the course Fundamentals of Scientific Work.

Sarah studied British and American Studies, History, and Contemporary European Studies at the University of Konstanz (Germany), the University of Warwick (UK), the University of Bath (UK), and Sciences Po Paris (France). She is currently finishing her PhD at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg on the history of transatlantic memory politics in the 1990s and early 2000s. During her PhD, she was a visiting researcher at Georgetown University (USA).

Her research interests include the history of transatlantic relations in the 20th century, memory politics, and European history since 1945. She works as a research associate in a historical museum in Berlin focusing on German history in the 19th and 20th century.
