Tamás Szigetvari Economics Budapest Berlin

Tamás Szigetvári teaches with András Inotai the course The Enlargement of the EU - Experiences, Processes and Impact in the first year of the Executive Master in EU Studies and the course The European Union Facing Global Economic Challenges in the second year of the Executive Master in EU Studies. He is responsible for the professional track Economics with the course Cohesion and Differentiation - Internal Cohesion of the EU and supports András Inotai in the supervision of the research track.

Tamás Szigetvári is an associate professor at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Hungary. He teaches courses in International economics, International economic institutions, EU in the world economy, and Sustainable development. Since 1996, he is a research fellow (since 2003 senior research fellow) at the Institute of World Economics (part of the Research Center of Economic and Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences).

His major research interest focuses on EU enlargement and neighbourhood policy, and the EU neighbourhood in the world economy.
