Carsten Gerards Colège d'Europe Natolin CIFE

Carsten Gerards has studied social sciences, philosophy and education in Cologne and Warwick. Since 2015 he has been working as a tutor/lecturer of European Politics at the University of Cologne and for the Schwarzkopf-Foundation. Previously, he gained teaching experience as a tutor of macrosociology and worked as a student assistant in the research group “Institution Building Across Borders” at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Societies (and later at the University Duisburg-Essen).  His main field of interest is education policy on the EU/European level.
