II. Optional courses (second trimester: 16 January - 3 April 2009)

  1. The EU in International Politics;
  2. Theoretical, political and economic aspects of transition in Eastern Europe;
  3. European law II: Internal market;
  4. The European Economic and Monetary Union and the Stability and Growth Pact (SGP).

III. Optional courses (third trimester: 20 April - 9 July 2009)

  1. Interest representation in the EU;
  2. Justice and Home Affairs in the EU;
  3. Economic challenges for the enlarged EU;
  4. Sustainable Development in the EU

IV. Additional Offers

Additional special-focus lectures by experts or by officials will be offered during the different workshops. For example following topics could be presented: EU and its Neighbours Regions and communities in EU...

  • simulations of international and intercultural negotiations;
  • inter-cultural communication;
  • advanced e-learning skills.
